Pure Spring Water
I've been doing some reading on water, and am finding some questioning about not only tap water (of course) but also much of the commercial bottled water available in many stores that I and so many buy for regular use in plastic bottles.

The recommendations I've come across are for a very high-quality in-home filter but what might be even better than that, pure mountain spring water that you collect yourself. While that's neither available nor practical for many, I've come across a nifty source for locating springs in your area. Here's the link
http://www.findaspring.com/

Springs by Region -

The site is kind of cool, with specific directions and many pictures of the springs.

Some springs have been tested, others not. Some have comments from others who have used the spring.

There are two fairly close to me. Check and see if there are any near you!

Now my task is to find glass bottles to replace all the plastic bottles I use for hauling water - ugh!

1. It's terrifying here in PA. A lot of the natural underground spring water and wells
are being contaminated with fracking chemicals being used in the Marcellus Shale Drilling.

I know of a couple of local springs but at this point am getting afraid to use them.
