Please pray for Sister Teresa Irene Perkins, OCD
She is trying to found the first Episcopal Carmel in America, but she does not have the land and convent for it yet. Please pray she can get the land and new postulants who are called to build Carmel.
Thanks!

2. Thank you!
God will provide, but Sister is so busy that she does not get the contemplative prayer time she needs. :(

Right now she has to go back and forth from one county to another every three days. Our relationship is strained, but understandably so...

3. Paryers for Sister Teresa...
...and may God bless her endeavor.

I have the privilege of living about 25 miles from an Anglican Benedictine monastery and when a free morning or afternoon comes up (sadly, very rarely does this happen) I often go and join them for worship, work, and meals. I leave with peace in my heart. When I can't be there, I realize the brothers are still making their offerings of work and praise and I'm being remembered in the community's prayers. And the peace returns to my heart.

The work monastics do is so important, but so hidden. It's like the murmur of brook nestled among the trees.
