curious what folks think about kids and the internet.

My kid finds the gaming type sections of You-tube fascinating. We have blocks on certain content and we do try to limit how much time he spends online. We have explained certain types of things to avoid, and I tend to look to see what he is viewing and explain why some things just aren't cool for him to look at, overall. I have been trying to decide if we should simply tell him he can't be on there (youtube), period. It is just so odd how many strange things kids could be exposed to online, (not just on youtube) that they would never encounter in their actual real life...

The internet - the good, the bad and the ugly. It's like the restricted section at Hogwarts!
