Central Auditory Processing Disorder is how I learned it - about 11 years ago.
I was completely and totally amazed when I met a teacher (~3 years ago) getting her masters in Special Ed - who'd been a Sped teacher for 15 years - who had not a freaking CLUE that her son has it. She said she thought she'd "heard of it"....
Unfortunately, she's still in denial over that one.
I'm still shocked by the disoders that homeschool parents know about and actively accommodate that schools and teachers have either never heard of, think it's "bogus", or have no concept of how it manifests and how to accommodate.

Non-Verbal Learning Disorder is one you see a bit more of these days, but a lot of folks have no idea about that, either, even people in the field sometimes haven't heard of it.
