3 - in - 1 Printer Recommendations, please
My daughter is starting college next month and needs a printer/scanner/copier to use in her dorm room. She will be using a macbook. I need something compact and am budgeting around $100.

Any suggestions?

TIA

1. Does $86 work?
This is a couple of months old so no idea if the deal is still standing...

2. I quite like this one

The top one - DCP 165c. We have one in the office for small colour jobs. I like the separate CMYK cartridges and if one runs out it stops until you replace it, no sheets with fading colours.

Another advantage is borderless printing.

3. I have an HP 3 in 1 and have never had any problems with it.
My model is 1210 and there are newer versions of it available. Check Staples ads. They had a sale on the newer version a while back and I bought a second one "just in case" for $39.00. Could not resist the bargain. This one is 2 years old not. I don't use it that often but I know it would still perform well if I had to,

The ink is very expensive, I know this is how they make their profit. I have an old Canon B&W connected and I use that for printing B & W, the 3 in 1 mostly for scanning and copying. I rarely need to make color copies so this makes the cost a little better. The cartridge for the Canon is only $15.00 or so.

I wish I had the courage to try the Walgreen's refills. Would save a fortune.

Good luck.
