Accounting software - is there any open source that is good
There was a one day special for quickbooks pro 2009 on Sept 29 for $70 but after reading the reviews on Amazon - this 2009 version looks to be a dog and many problems so I will return it unopened. I bought it that day since, it was one day only and figured I would research when I got home.

so now I would like to use something but what is there.
Or should I just use excel

I haven't needed this much in the way of an accounting package for awhile, but I used an earlier version of this when I ran a booze shack a few years back. It did what I needed.
