your firewall keeps its record of websites that it has blocked and unblock it. For some reason it was blocked you may want to find out why. Check here www.site adviser.com

2. Kerio was your suggestion... |
where should I be looking? I tried adding it into allowed websites, I tried disabling the firewall entirely; nothing is working. I went over to Sunbelt's forums and can barely understand their instructions for other problems. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

8. I have uninstalled Sunbelt... |
and put in Zone Alarm (free version) instead. I spent more than an hour on the phone with Earthlink (and they sure are game to try to solve a problem, even if they didn't cause it) but the Times is still not working for me and I don't know where to look to find what is blocking it. It's allowed in Firefox. I suppose I have to drag my ass to the Sunbelt forum to ask.

3. Kerio has a forum but little tech support because they sell tech service. Try |

5. Apparently I have to ask Sunbelt rather than Kerio... |
since I have the trial personal firewall, which has been sold.

4. NYTimesCrosswords always seems to put tracking cookies onto |
my computer, and jam up my Firefox. I was thinking it was blocked. But it may have reasons for blocking them. But I think you are on the right track. dc

6. Never had this problem on Firefox... |
or with dial-up. I wish I could say whether the problem started immediately after I put in the firewall but before the DSL started (about 6 hours), but I don't remember.

9. In case anyone is wondering... |
about 6 hours after I erased all my NYTimes cookies in a desperate attempt to do something, the Times popped up as normal. Not immediately but about 6 hours later, and 2 days after I had ditched Kerio and installed Zone Alarm instead. Phew!
