1. There are instructions someplace around here telling how to post photos. I hope someone will post
the link.

Did the phone come with a usb cable to connect to your pc, does your phone have the ability to send eMail, can you contact the phone service provider. These are just some suggestions without knowing the type and model phone.

2. Try photobucket
You can upload straight from your phone, then paste the link they provide into your DU post.

3. I believe that's called 'enabling'
Sorry, DP, I'm just out of a round of family phone calls. I need to vent about the soap operas that some folk call a life.

OP, somewhere in the box in which your phone arrived, there is probably a little cable that, if you try hard, will plug somewhere into your computer. The other end should be able to be crammed into one of the holes in your phone.

Via this cable, at some stage even the most technically challenged, should be able to make a connection between what is on their phone and the imaging software/hard drive of their computer.

If you need more information than that, then sorry. You are not qualified to use a camera-phone. This group is wonderful when it bands together to collectively solve a nagging problem that besets a computer user. It is at it's worst when some chronically lazy child refuses to RTFM.

4. Eh, my brother's wife *still* won't use a digital camera..
They're on their third one and have had one for at least ten years, she doesn't want to learn how to download the pics to the computer and then upload the ones she wants to the printer or lab..

I shudder to think how much they still pay in film and developing because she does like to take pictures and is actually pretty good at that part of it.

The woman is an RN and far from stupid but she absolutely loathes learning anything technical.. Every single time she wants to put new songs on her MP3 player I have to talk her through it on the phone, since their computer is set up rather differently than mine it takes about twenty times as long as it would if she would just write down the procedure and follow the steps.
