I'm presently running Firefox 3.5.7 on my desktop computer. |
|
I just noticed a popup invitation to "Upgrade to Firefox 6". Are there any known problems with that upgrade?

1. No problems so far, remember if you use add ons they usually lag and may not get updated. |

3. I updated to 3.6 after I saw your post. After a day or so, I'm not seeing any obvious problems |

I ditched firefox back when 3.0 came out. I still use 2.0.0.20, and opera 10.10. Firefox has always been shitty since 3.0. It hogs memory (340-670MB) flash performance is dog-slow, and the damn thing takes ages to load on all of my operating systems. (Windows XP/Vista/7/Gentoo Linux 10.0-kernel-2.6.33)
