Looking for a free utility to remember often used information |
|
I'm trying to locate a small utility that will allow me to save some e-mail addresses and other bits of information that I use repetitively to access some internet sites. Specifically, is there any program the community can recommend that does the follow:
When putting the cursor in a input block (like, say, a field for entering your e-mail address), right click on your mouse to access the drop down menu.
In the menu is a menu or submenu of key phrases/words, etc. that are preprogrammed for one click insert in the field where the cursor is located?
I have a application that I access up to 30 times a day. I have to put in an e-mail address that is long. I'm constantly needing to retype it because I screw it up. A utility that allows me to save the e-mail address for quick paste would be a handy time saver.
Any suggestions?

1. Found something that works |

A little more complicated then I need, but allows programmable hot-keys to store phrases/text/e-mails etc. http://www.joejoesoft.com/cms/showpage.php?cid=97

2. If you use FireFox you can use the addon LastPass |
|
It does both passwords and filling out forms. You determine different profiles and what details you want to automatically to enter.
