Wireless network not showing up on laptops... |
|
This started yesterday out of the blue. At first I thought it was the connections to the router and then I thought it was the router itself. Bought a brand new router. Hooked everything up and installed it. It worked for a few minutes and then the wireless network could not be found. I replaced one of the cords with another one. Network was there for a few minutes and then it disappeared again.
I'm getting very frustrated because I cannot figure out why these wireless networks disappear and can't be found. This isn't just on one laptop. We have two of them that's doing this. One laptop is a Toshiba Satellite and is only a few months old. I'm wondering if the problem is with the desktop.
Please help me out here.

2. Does the Internet stay on if you hook the computer Via Cable? |

Also....the chance of it being the new modem is fairly slim.
Have you configured the modem or Reset it?? (You usuall reset a wireless modem by inserting a paperclip wire into the small hole in the rear of the modem).
