I DO remember opening a Lady's computer that she kept in her kitchen and being "swarmed over" by (at least) 30 cockroaches. I was not happy.

I've worked on a bunch of them where the processor was burned up because the heatsink was clogged with dust.
I've seen 'puters with dust worse than any of those pictures, particularly the old 8086 machines, they would run for a very long time with practically no cooling at all.

and stack stuff around them blocking all the air vents.
I can't remember the number of motherboards I've seen with nothing wrong with them other than fried caps.
