Meet Guy Noir
I wanted to introduce you to my latest addition. He was a tom living in my community and he just would not be refused. I had three already and didn't really want to adopt another but this is how it is. He waited every day for me to come home from work and greeted me asking for dinner. He waited outside in his sleepling place for the lights to go on in my kitchen in the morning. He's been fixed and doctored and is a very happy fellow now after getting over the fact that he will not be let outside. You will be able to see from his pictures how irresitable he is. He is such an affectionate sweet boy, I love him so much.

1. He's a beautiful boy...
just a hint though. Cut the handles on the shopping bag. When my Wrigley was younger, he stuck his neck through the handles and then couldn't get out. He frantically ran throughout the house with the shopping bag around his neck. I wasn't much help at first -- I was laughing so hard I couldn't get a grip to help him.

7. That exact thing happened to one of mycats this weekend. I usually cut the
handles, but forgot this time.

2. And what have Charlie, Pad Thai and Lilly had to say about this? Hmmmm?
Congratulations on your handsome new Guy Noir! :D

I am guessing that Lilly doesn't care so long as no one disturbs her naps.

What about Charlie and Pad Thai?

:hi:

He and Charley have a lot to talk about.
I hope Pad Thai and Lily like him.

Edited for spelling.

4. Congrats on your new dashing and handsome fellow...
he's beautiful. And I love that name (from Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion, I presume).

5. Guy is a real character
so he most resembles Pad Thai in personality. They play together frequently and the only time Pad Thai doesn't like it is when he is cuddling with me under the covers and Guy comes up thinking this is a game of bed mice and tries to tackle him. Guy likes high places, like Pad Thai and gets into lots of trouble knocking things over because of his size.

Charley plays with Guy too, but not as much as he does with Pad Thai. I think he is hesitant because Guy is so much bigger and Charley was declawed before I got him. Charley is a larger cat than Pad Thai, so I think he feels its safer to play with him.

Lily has developed a sharp right jab to maintain order and show Guy who the boss is. Guy knows now that she needs her "personal space" which most of the time happens to be on my lap or pillow.

12. How lucky you both were that your paths crossed.
Saturday, Dec 20th, I have tickets to see the Prairie Home Companion Show at Town Hall here in NYC. I am very excited to see the show in person.

11. He's quite the cutest
and, he is also very handsome. You are the best, Demnan, because you do not hesitate to take in a "fella in need" at any time.

I think you are such a good person.

13. I almost named Atticus Pye Guy Noir
but he's a sensitive, delicate and silly little guy, not suave enough for the name-but your fellow sure is! He looks like a more debonair version of my late great Miro. Congrats on your new addition!
