AAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big Pharma!!!!!!!!!!!! |
|
Today I went to the Vet for an array of reasons and when done, near half of my $520 bill was for Clavimox for my two dogs to treat "ear infections". I am so sick of the cost of meds for our household. Sorry.... just had to vent!!!!!!!:nuke: :grr: :nuke:

1. You were seriously overcharged... |
|
I've gotten many scrips for Clavimox for my cats and I never paid that much. At most, the cost was around $40 for Clavimox. You might want to check with the vet to see if there was a mistake in the charge.

2. This is for dogs. I called my Vet and mentioned it. It did seem really high. |

Thanks for saying that. I am going to do a phone call to the local Vet. Maybe they can compare cost for me also. They owe me a favor anyways.

3. Just checked 1-800-petmeds and they run 2.50 per 375 mil. pill. So |

I just figured out that I maybe paid only $20 too much. I understand that they get this price as there is no generic at this time and probably won't be for 5-7 yrs. until the patent runs out. This really is such a problem for costs.
