Those Pedigree dog food commercials are wiping me out.... Sad pictures of sad shelter dogs with the voice-over "Don't pity shelter dogs. ..... Adopt one". Sending me into gales of tears!
On the other hand... Tamara (Hall?) from MSNBC is co-anchoring and her flip little joke-at-everything, take-nothing-seriously attitude is setting me off in different direction... grrrr!
On yet another hand.... the dogs, as always, are just teriffic! I think I've only seen a corded-coat Havenese once before... maybe last year? That Japanese Shin is magnificent, as is the Maltese. Also never seen a fully-coated Chinese Crested before
I'mm lovin' the dogs!
Damn! That toy poodle won yet AGAIN!!!

3. Yes, just the Toy group |
|
It just seems like the poodles are ALWAYS winning... I like to see it spread around a bit more. My favorite group is the Herding dogs - I'd take almost any breed of herding dog, just love them.

I had a 120-lb Great Pyr mix who I just lost a couple months ago (at almost 15 years old, for his size he'd outlived his life expectancy by quite a few years). He was a spectacular dog. Now I have an Old English Sheepdog who is also quite interesting. I keep her groomed and clipped though, 'cause I couldn't deal with the hair-care on a daily basis those dogs require!
I'm looking forward to tonight's showings.
The Whippet that won the Hound group was spectacular, as was the Greyhound that came in second. Most of my favorites didn't place.
I guess you'll have to wait till the last group to see your terriers... sorry! But then you'll get to see the winner of the Terrier group go right into the Final.

as was the Greyhound that came in Second. I loved watching them. So many great hounds this year.
I was thrilled to see the Scottish Deerhound place this year, and the PBGB - well, I ALWAYS root for them, just love them!
