The note is from the ER Nurse and the Vet who took care of Boen..and me...
I burst out crying when I opened it up...

1. That's very nice of them.
My vet does the same thing, it's one of the reasons I go to him.
It shows that they care.

How are you doing?

5. Better...but as soon as I come home again...
and Boen is not there to meet me at the door....I revert back to hysterical crying..

My brain knows this will end someday, but my heart is not believing any of it..

I miss him more than I can say..

This was just last weekend...
His face was saying...."What? Do you really expect me to take a nap on the FLOOR???"

Hiding from the thunderstorm last week..I was at the desk, and he was trying to crawl under it..

4. What a sweet thing to do.
Our vet sent a card and note after our beloved cat, Stinker, died last November and it moved me to tears. I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

9. Truly a beautiful gesture
We tend forget sometimes how kind people can be.

It does get better. I've lost 3 animals in less than 3 years- each day it gets a little easier.

10. Oh, I am so sorry for your loss.
And that was a wonderful gesture they made. I have a pawprint of Harry and I cherish it.
