:hi:...but howzabut a bit of teaser or snippet next time you find something cool like this?
Do you greet each other with excitement, overlook each other’s flaws and easily forgive bad behavior? If it’s your pet, the answer is probably yes. But your spouse? Probably not.
I remember way back in the Stoned Age (1960s) when my sister and I got a pair of kittens. Those little furbabies received SO MUCH love and attention (and you know how goopy/silly prepubescent girls can sound when they love a critter) and my dad commenting rather sourly about it.
Well, yeah...Captain Hook and Burleigh enjoyed the attention and responded to it with purrs, snuggles, interaction...and they NEVER pushed anyone away or told us to leave them alone because there were 'too busy' or 'too tired'.
Of course they were going to get slobbered over...kids have to love something. If it loves you BACK in a way you can easily interpret as such (as opposed to a 'responsible' but not azackly 'affectionate' parenting style) then you're gonna SHOW it.
Sorry about possible TMI...article makes a good point, and it just brought stuff back.
