Has anyone read "The Secret History of the World"?

I bought it last night (our Borders' going-out-of business sale started yesterday :( ...) but it will probably be some time before I get to it. Just wondering what I'm in for. Or if I should make time for it sooner :)

3. So I broke down and started it...

...pretty fascinating stuff. Explores the history of creation in reverse - i.e., as if the creation myths of various traditions were the truth, and the science was invented later to explain it all.

4. Haven't read it yet, but I find the subject endlessly interesting.

Bits and pieces from several books have definitely hinted that the world as perceived mostly through the lens of religions that have gone militant more or less,is certainly not the real story. Just like the history of our current monetary system is basically based on a series of lies and huge fraud.
