New Matthew message
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MessagesfromMatthew/message/84

One thing I notice is that there haven't been reassurances about Obama in this nor in the last one. That seems oddly glaring to me.......

What's your take on that?

3. Before I even go read it, I have to say ...
... as usual, I felt it in the ether and checked the date. I thought "Nah, it's not time" but could not shake the feeling. I find that so so so bizarre. I really do and I know I'm not the only one here who feels the messages out there.

Off to read.

5. that's a good way to put it...
"felt it in the ether"...
Yes I did too.

I pretty much have no sense of time...two weeks feels about the same as two months to me, so I don't have the "it's about that time of month" feeling. But every now and then, I get the "hmmm, wonder if there's a Matthew message coming?"

4. Well, I must admit I like this one a lot!
Especially the vibratory messages about as we progress there will be no disease.

I have noticed that something that was bothering me a month ago physically, has definitely improved, and I was wondering if maybe that has something to do with the frequencies getting stronger? Anyone else feel improved in that way? Maybe it's not that I took certain supplements, etc. etc..

Something to ponder!

Also the purification of the Earth! Wow! Won't that be fantastic!

8. He did say the intervention in Libya was to help liberate the people.
That it was not to serve selfish U.S. Interests.

I find it quite odd that all these Congressmen who gave Bush a pass on invading Iraq and Afghanistan, basing it on lies about WMDs, with no timeline of when to get out, are all of a sudden attacking Obama for a supposedly limited action that he insists he will hand off to NATO.

Why weren't they raising hell when Bush was invading Iraq and Afghanistan??????

9. Overt, over-the-top hypocrisy seems to be the norm now
It's really stunning to behold.

I think it was either Jon Stewart or Bill Maher who recently did a bit talking about the hypocrisy and saying, about the politicians, that it's as though they deny the existence of modern technology. They're on video from last week saying the exact opposite of what they just spewed!

(paraphrasing) :)

It would be comical if it all weren't so tragic and dangerous.

10. "Over the top"
Tthat is a phrase that is becoming all too common in my vocabulary. My hubby and I marvel at the over the "top-ness" at things more and more all the time. It's almost as if situations, actions etc. are TRYING to get our attention by becoming more ridiculous everyday! Nicely put OGR.

sort of says, "he's a good guy."

II read a disturbing article the other day that the many who has now taken command of the Libyan "rebels" (citizen soldiers?) has been living in Virginia, just outside DC for the past 20 years...of course, my little :tinfoilhat: jumped on my head and I don't think that was such a spontaneous uprising and I don't think we are kind and loving and give for the humanity of it.

15. Tend to agree..
But sometimes I think that he is so far ahead of all of us, that he knows exactly how it is going down, and to lead some of the over the top stuff to the edge that it is now, brings the bubble,(the big ugly zit of humanity)to a place where the change he was elected for, can happen...

I DO wonder if he started out that way, or if TPTB operate like the mafia and made threats on him or his family if he didn't comply. I still remember that LOOK on his face the night he won...like something was wrong... I don't know...I think he is/was the last politician that anyone will ever fully believe in. You know? It is hard to get fired up about ANY election these days... I think there is a good chance that the electoral system will fade out..and something more people friendly will prevail, ..well, I have rambled...

20. Well, to continue the analogy ...
It's a desperate situation. Errors will be made. Sometimes the engines will have to be powered up. (I guess I'd say that's giving it some gas, not pouring it on.) It's chaotic, and basically an ongoing disaster. The hope is simply that the end result is the least bad that was possible.

21. Ideally we make an emergency landing in the Hudson River
Then very carefully balance ourselves out on the wings while waiting for rescue ships to arrive. With any luck we avoid other random Canadian Geese flying into things.

Ehe, sorry to mix your metaphor there, Big Monkey. ^_^; It still feels like the most appropriate assessment of Obama's role in things -- guide us to an emergency landing and try to minimize what damage possible.

Its one of the many things I love about the beautiful folks here on ASAH.
I just don't share them about this particular subject.
I feel This plane is going to crash and burn. The only question is ....is it going to be a slow burn or a quick finish.
I have come to the conclusion that a quick crash and burn is healthier.
Obama is completely on big business's side To me its not even a question anymore.
Until this whole ship totally crumbles we cannot even begin to rebuild.....SO!

26. But (one more tiny step with the analogy), we're on the plane!
That's the part I don't get about the "quick crash and burn is healthier" perspective. Healthier for whom? Do you feel that you're in no danger, or that the harm to others doesn't need to be minimized?

I'm not trying to be accusatory, I just never feel like there's any place to hide, myself. I've done a lot of work over the past few years to find some kind of detached place to stand, but it still seems fairly spongy. I don't feel like I can go back to my book, and wait until the crash is over. I left a monastery-like setting about 20 years ago, perhaps that would provide the feeling of refuge. I just don't feel like the disaster is happening over there, to them. I feel it's happening to us, here.

No doubt about that.
We have all ready passed a tipping point there is no going back now.
We have pushed the environment way past its breaking point.
It would seem that the corporations now own all the politicians, BOTH parties. The corporations don't care about the environment, you, me or anyone else.
They are KILLING with impunity whole eco systems, whole tribes of indigenous people.
Hell they are killing American citizens too. They just don’t care. The government dozen’t care. They are all making money and will not stop till they EAT the whole world!!!

I tell you whats gonna happen with the latest republican union busting bills.
Some will pass now and in five years or less The DEMOCRATS will propose and successfully pass the rest of the anti worker measures!!!
Just watch…They are already going after SS and Medicare NOW!!!

WE are a civilization in decline. We have been for the last 30 years!
We know from history and fractal time exactly what comes next.
I would choose to avoid the fascism and go straight to the end so we can begin to rebuild
Hell yes I say let it crash and burn! If you really think a slow painful drawn out end is preferable to a quick cleansing then that’s your call.
But I say the people, the environment; etc can’t take a whole lot more.

But Hey I’m a Howler. LOL! My animal totems arena’t warm and fuzzy. And their truths aren’t “Genteel”
Mine are The Raven, Owl, weasel and the wolf.

29. I see your point, too, Howler
Though I have a more passive attitude towards things. Events have been set in motion that are beyond our direct control; seems like all we can do at this point is try to hold our own and see where the pieces fall.

As much as I'd like everything to just be over already, I'm not wanting a "crash and burn" event, either. So much is lost when everything explodes at once. There's a greater chance of salvaging more parts (good and bad) in the end if we at least try to soften the landing.

There's also the point to consider that time and events are speeding up now -- any dark phases we do go through will ultimately be short-lived. Look at the response to the teabagger powergrabs all across the country. People are already waking up, taking a stand and saying "NO!" as loudly as possible. They're even beginning to see through the mass-media smoke and mirrors surrounding it all. It's only been six weeks since the cronies took power.

Bit by bit the towers are crumbling. Bit by bit the sun is peering through the clouds, illuminating all the shadows we've been under for so long. Living in it from second to second feels like an eternity, but everything is happening so fast there's hardly enough time to take it all in. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it's NOT a speeding freight train!

But I would say that its all crashing and burning NOW!! LOL!
People have lost faith in The government,Churches, media, etc.Yes time is accelerating. However I would dearly love to avoid the pit falls that humanity has indulged in the past because that is where the truly insidious evil takes place.

It gonna take ALL kinds of healers people. We all chose to be here at this time to help with this transition.
Some folks are uncomfortable with the wilder energies. I'm not.
I understand some of the feelings of horror that folks have about the potential future but the mass death tolls are happening NOW!
PLEASE! I would have that stop QUICKLY NOW.
I'm going to do and am doing everything I'm urged to do to bring that about.I'm looking for a sound!!!!
I'm looking for the keys.

When I fire up my crystal prayer grid for the planet earth there is a very tangible smell of smoke and burning!
Even My husband can smell it as he passes the basket hours later!!!

33. An album you might enjoy:
Linkin Park -- A Thousand Suns

Several of the songs have been mentioned here before, but the whole album start to finish is a masterpiece. It covers so many emotions that it's not an easy thing to summarize. Suffice to say, I find it to be spot-on with what we're dealing with as a collective. (And if you do pick up a copy you HAVE to listen to it start to finish -- NO SKIPPING or SHUFFLING! The order of the songs is every bit as important as the songs themselves.)

My copy has found a permanent home in my car's stereo system; I like to listen to it on my daily commutes. Even though some of the songs cover some very heavy subjects it ends on a message of hope and love, so it's ultimately very uplifting (at least to my strange sensibilities). I think you would identify quite well with the tracks "Wretches and Kings" and "The Catalyst." :)

How's that for a sound, Howler? ;D

Wretches and Kings -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIMo1WoHcfE
Waiting For The End -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qF_qbaWt3Q&feature=related
Iridescent -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzeDJXN4zeM

All of the songs are pretty damn good on their own and pack a lot of punch, but once you listen to them in the order on the album it adds so much more depth to the narrative.

39. A Thousand Suns is unique
At least in scope; the sound isn't all that different from what Linkin Park usually does. I'd say it's a bit more dance-ish than what they've done in the past, but other than that it's more or less like a lot of their other stuff.

I've never been a big fan of theirs up til now. Most of their songs strike me as one of two emotions: "angry-emo" or "whiny-emo." (It should be noted that I am very judgmental when it comes to music and lyrics. XD) I'd even go so far as to describe this newest album as "introspective-emo," but it's so well done I can't hate on it. They also did a few songs for the Transformers movies; "What I've Done" and "New Divide," respectively.

Some more links to give you a better idea of their range:

What I've Done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sgycukafqQ
Breaking The Habit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2H4l9RpkwM&feature=relmfu

Leave Out All The Rest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6KKlRzvmZ0&feature=related

45. OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I love it!!!! its very intense and cathartic!
They went very deep into the human condition.
I was really impressed with "Radiance" talking about Shiva and his dance of destruction.
I also was thrilled at the eastern sounding chants and musical scores! WOW!!!!
I haven't experienced anything like that since Page and Plant's "No quarter" C.D in 94.
I LOVED LOVED LOVED "Wisdom and Justice" and the way the voice went into an electronic distortion! It gave me chills!!! LOL!
The visceral and primal rage in his screaming in "Fallout" or is that..... "Blackout"? and the grief and regret in "Burning in the Sky's" Was very affecting.

The anger, frustration, and grief......then there are tracks that are an almost graceful acceptance and definite transcendence.

This C.D is a hell of a emotional,spiritual ride!
I only got to listen to it three times and two of them i was running around doing chores and chasing after my hoodlum hounds. LOL!
But I did get to sit down and listen with total focus to the whole c.d. once today. woot!!!
This will be loaded in my player for quite a while Saokymo. ITS EXCELLENT!!!! Truly EXCELLENT.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!It is going to be playing here in Howlerville everyday for quite a while.LOL!

47. "Intense and cathartic" is the most apt description!
I like the note at the beginning of the included booklet, too:

On the eve of its completion, this body of work, assembled through unconscious inspiration and unmitigated exertion, has revealed to us notions both stirring and surprising. The imagery personified herein is neither dogma nor political premeditation. The emergent themes and metaphors illuminate a uniquely human story.

It truly is a work of art. Even though it's not dogmatic or heavy-handed political commentary, at the same time it still is simply because we're going through all the emotions therein as a collective. The fact that it ends on such a beautiful chord leaves me feeling hopeful for the future despite the coming storm.

And I'm absolutely stoked that there's someone I can share the music and feelings with now! :D Enjoy the music, Howler. I'll be sending happy thoughts your way every time I do now, too.

Though I have noticed from experience alot of folks are uncomfortable around it. LOL!

All social evolutions are only brought on by stress and the needs of the populations.Without the distress there would be no change!!!!.

24. I think he is just a man.
He has disappointed many. He picks and chooses his fights. I look at who he surrounds himself with and just think of the old axiom-- "birds of a feather."
