With all the back ups, floods and overflow...I have a request |
|
I need some abundance vibes sent my way. We have had a rough few years (me particularly with Saturn giving me no peace)financially and I really was hoping we would get on our feet and the AstrologyZone forecast seemed so optimistic....
well, I got dinged from the state for about $700 for back taxes they said I underpaid. I do have an emergency account which I raided for the old taxes and what is left is insufficient for the new ones. And, as I was doing 2010 taxes it looks like we underpaid quite a bit for both Federal and State (unemployment really screws us up). Plus dh did not have as much withheld when he finally went back to work so we could catch up but we never really did d/t his needing to pay living expenses out of state and we made a few trips to see him....
So, I'm a few G's short and am probably going to make payments... Plus we are still chipping away at some other debt (it seems I can't make any progress this year).
Anyway I hate having this feeling of doom in my gut and the urge to try and sell everything we own hanging over me to pay off our obligations.
I'm tired of juggling and the pressure of one thing after another. My kid is graduating H.S. this year too. I'm tired of pulling the rabbit out of the hat I guess.
So good moneymaking vibes please!!!! I need that feeling of certainty it will all work out!

I've been making monthly payments to the IRS for about five years now (honestly lost track of what I owe).
I live paycheck to paycheck -- ZERO safety net.
I also have a child graduating from high school this year. The expenses are brutal, and so many...quite a few unexpected. I know you know what I mean.
I share this to say that you can do it. Even if you have to make payments to the IRS, it's doable.
In a way it's liberating not to have anything to sell or funds to tap into. I have zero decisions to make!
I just keep plugging along, day by day, praying nothing extraordinarily catastrophic happens like illness, as I have no insurance, no benefits of any kind.
I know what you mean about the nonstop stress -- alternating between acute and chronic. It is exhausting.
What I wrote above may sound like a pity party, but I honestly share it for you to see that you'll be just fine. You're actually doing well to even be able to contemplate chipping away at debt. Truly.

5. Thanks. I feel sort of bashful now. |
|
We have been lucky to have unemployment and that my husband found work. Of course, he can get laid off tomorrow... But it could definitely be more difficult-- I could be a single parent. I am lucky we do have health coverage (even if it doesn't want to pay anything--I have a doctor bill for about $250 I am "forgetting" about until next month).
I think you know exactly the feeling I speak of in the pit of my stomach--it empties the lungs but doesn't want to fill them.

Eilen, this year has been rough all around, and by now many people are beginning to feel the impact of carrying all that weight. May you and your family enjoy prosperity and abundance in all areas of life. :-)O8)

4. Hey, Eilen. You might not have to make |
|
payments. I went thru the same thing. Right now, I'm making monthly payments because I honestly want to. The IRS has something called like a hardship situation - but they don't tell you that right away. The agent went thru every single one of my expenses and every debt and saw that I'm breaking even. And they stress in every monthly receipt letter to let them know if you cannot pay during a certain month or if you need to work out a new arrangement.
Moneymaking vibes and peace of mind are on the way!

7. The thing is, we made enough money |
|
we just had extra expenses and probably shouldn't have visited 3 times. I should have worked through Christmas instead of taking off 2 weeks. I also should not have visited during Labor Day-- Just kept it to Thanksgiving. My husband could have come home and it would have been cheaper. But he had already promised his mother we'd visit her in Florida for Christmas and he would not consider changing it.
I should have put more money aside and been more frugal and more aggressive about working hours. It is my own foolish decisions.
I'm going to check in at work tomorrow and see if I can pick up more hours. I'm also going to change my W-2 to deduct extra money each pay period so I am not so short on state taxes. My husband will likely get unemployed again this year. I should also post some stuff up on an auction or Etsy site. I can also advertise for alterations at work.

8. I don't think what you DID or MIGHT HAVE DONE matters; |

what matters now is what you are able to pay, comfortably. I agree with Kind of.
Take a few breaths.

19. True, none of the CSRs - except for |
|
one piece of work - who was reported as well as her supervisor - ever asked why I did this or that with my money. Only wanted to know what is coming in and going out using a long list of categories and anything you can remember, even the smallest thing, as far as expenses. Basically like a teeny-tiny, itty-bitty, very short tax form.

stop shoulding on yourself! We must live! Do not beat yourself up for having a life and taking time to take care of yourself and your life. Whine and cry to the IRS, they'll work with you. I had my own agent for many years. I had another agent who had her agent for so long, he refused to retire until she was finished! Crazy world we live in...but I'm glad you took time off. Think how stressed you would be if you hadn't (that money would have been spent, don't worry about that.)
I send you wonderful bountiful blessing vibes. Take care of yourself first, then the IRS. Communicate with them.

6. Vibes coming from here, eilen, and keep in mind |
|
the tax people, the everyday ones who answer the phones, like you and me, will help you work out payments you can afford. IRS doing that with me now. No need to sell anything, imo; they want to know what your income and obligations enable you to pay.
Best wishes.

There is a section on cars/auto exp. and I have to figure that one out this week. It may bring my number a little lower. It is complicated because my dh brought one car down, we sold/traded it in there and then used a different car back. I'll probably call the IRS about that one for some advice.

16. Sending good vibes to you, eilen |

I have found that lighting a green candle can be helpful.
Marion Weinstein, in her 1978 classic book "Positive Magic", taught how to use Words of Power for things like abundance, fulfillment, security and so on. She had a public radio program many years ago in New York City. The book is well worth reading because it discusses in great detail the wiccan concept of doing no harm. This includes not interfering with others by casting spells, even on their behalf, without their consent.
Example: There is One Power which is perfect abundance (and perhaps economic secuurity?) And I (your name) a perfect6 manifestation of this Power Therefore perfect abundance (etc) is mine, here and now For the good of all And according to free will And so it must be. (or so mote it be)
Blessings of abundance to you!

I'm also sending good thoughts for everyone in ASAH that's experiencing the financial crunch. We are, too.
I hope you all have more than enough, and plenty to share with someone else.
