Oh egad, so SO surly
Seen me posting much? No? There's a reason for that--I'm afraid I'm going to snarl. Inadvertently, and meaning no harm to anyone who might be the unsuspecting recipient of my snarlage, of course. :grouphug:

I don't think it's MFR, which doesn't usually affect my mood unless it's slamming me, which it isn't this time (except for a lovely bill of $1,004--yep, one thousand and FOUR dollars--for my car--needs shocks and a tie rod). I don't know what's been giving me epic mood swings the past couple of days, but they come out of nowhere, so I've been lying low till it calms down. Yikers. :hide:

1. Went through something similar a few weeks back
I know exactly what you're talking about. You're afraid to say anything because you don't know what kind of shrew you'll be at that particular moment. Not sure what's causing it, but it's maddening. I don't know about you, but I cannot stand confrontations or arguments or anything that even implies violence, but when I was in super bitch mode, I wasn't able to stop myself. It was a strange few days, indeed. The good news: it passes. The bad news: you'll probably have to soothe some hurt feelings once you've regained your equilibrium.

2. Phew--thanks, K
I feel like I'm going crazy! Tried to put it down to PMS, because that's what it feels like, but it's not fitting "the schedule". I have even WOKE UP in a pissy mood once or twice, which is startling--to start a day that way before anything's even happened.

Luckily I've been pretty good at biting my tongue for the most part, so I haven't done too much damage--I even managed to stay calm when MG Jr. was pushing my buttons over something stupid yesterday (if anything was going to make me "go off", that would have done it).

Anyway, thanks for letting me know that it does pass--hope it does, quickly, as I'm supposed to spend some quality time with my crazy repub aunt tomorrow. Dangerous! :P

How have you been doing? :hi:

6. Much better
Edited on Sat Apr-16-11 10:19 AM by Kookaburra
Spent some time in meditation with Mother Mary and Archangel Michael -- the bigs guns, as one of my friends calls them -- and have a clearer understanding of my role in all this "stuff" going on. Turns out all I had to do was what I usually do: hold the love. It was an intense meditation, and they took away a lot of crap that no longer served me (vows of poverty, old hurts and fears from family and friends, etc.) Been feeling better this week than I've felt in a while. Can't wait for Mercury to get through doing it's thing so I don't have to watch out for that.

I'm sending you peace, as it appears that was the particular gift Mary gave me this last weekend, and love.

9. Aw, thank you, K

I talk to AA Michael (and Raphael) and Brigid. Same same, yes? :) They have been wonderful to me as well.

Glad you're doing better. I'm still working on getting rid of the vow of poverty thing too. I hear that career success is headed my way soon, so I'd better get out of my own head tout suite to make room!

You hang in there too. :hi:

16. Please do not confuse super bitch mode w/super honesty mode, Kookaburra.
Sometimes we need to verbalize the obvious so it can't continue to be ignored. That ain't bein' a bitch; that's simply NOT being an accomplice.(Depending on the situation, of course.)
Women too often assume the mantle of bitch, because our paternal society has LABELED outspoken, strong women as such. Don't buy into that false thinking. Instead of super bitch, say SUPER OBSERVANT! ;)
:hi:

19. That's very true SC
There was certainly a lot of clarity and honesty in that unusual mood I had, but I didn't like the person I was being. I can usually temper honesty with love and tact, but during that week of "not me" I couldn't find a tactful word for anyone. Guess that's why I felt like "super bitch".

4. LOL no, can't blame it on that
I've been on "phase 3", which is no carbs but as much other food as I want, for more than a week. I'm used to no-carbing it because of my insulin resistance, so this is no big deal. I haven't even been tempted by the box o' donuts my mom brought over yesterday.

7. Been feeling this too MG...
and not posting much. Thursday was a bad day! lol. Interestingly enough, I had to teach an aqua aerobics class that night and 3 of the ladies came in saying they had had the worst day! And then they went on to say they'd been feeling sad, angry, depressed etc. for a while. So it's something in the airwaves I believe. This too shall pass, freaking EVENTUALLY!!! lol.

I will admit that I scooped up a small glop of frosting that dropped through one of the donut holes, but hey, it was chocolate!

Eh, Chocolate frosting's calories don't count if you only eat it by the dollop with your fingers anyways.}(

8. you? bad mood?
Other than your occasional bouts of hilarious sarcasm, you are the sweetest sweetie on the planet! so hang in there...

maybe not MFR, but aren;t some of these other planets hanging out in ARIES...which is not known for playing 'nice'
maybe think of it as the firey energy flaring up when you feel like that, and either drink some water or splash some on your face, even try putting hands in cold water...quench the flames of rage! ;)

i dunno, maybe it will help
meanwhile, know that we love you anyway ;)

12. Well, it's sort of relative, I guess
It's not like I have the urge to set my neighbor's house on fire or drown puppies or anything, but yeah, there is a spot o' darkness that rears its ugly head from time to time and alarms me.

I like the idea of water--I don't do that enough. Although somehow I think doing the dishes doesn't count! :P And being air magic, I should do grounding even more.

Thanks, FL!

15. And the reason
it's more intense than in the past (this happens once/yr) is because Pluto is sneaking up on your Sun. PL has been squaring your Sun from 3 degrees away, it's getting close and moves slowly. Next year, when PL is about 1 degree away from your Sun (and mine), then when Mars adds to it, it'll really feel aggressive.

The trick is between now and then, not to let things mount up. That is the trick, then it won't be so explosiv/irritable

Oh well. Forewarned is forearmed and all that, right? :banghead:

I love the mental image I'm getting of Pluto on tippy-toes, fingers curved, sneaking up on my Sun. "Slowly I lumber, step by step..."

is the big one, it's been building since Jan 08, and will hit us both in about a year.
It's ok, it's where it needs to be. Keep your eye on it.
and ALWAYS keep an eye on MARS, ALWAYS

it makes mine hurt! lol

Yes, we all know when it's coming.
I've been telling you for 3 years, Pluto is in Capricorn, it's just a matter of time until it conjuncts our Sun.

I've seen many, many, many people be quite successful during this time. Don't fret it. You'll know when you're starting to pick up this energy clearly and effectively when you start to get OBSESSED with throwing things out of your basement. Seriously.
