A Lost World? Atlantis-Like Landscape Discovered: http://www.livescience.com/14974-geologists-remains-landscape-rose-north-atlantic-ocean-56-million-years-sinking.htmlBuried deep beneath the sediment of the North Atlantic Ocean lies an ancient, lost landscape with furrows cut by rivers and peaks that once belonged to mountains. Geologists recently discovered this roughly 56-million-year-old landscape using data gathered for oil companies.

You know, the more digging scientists do into humanity's prehistoric past, the more they are proving the ancient stories about how life evolved on this planet. Take Genesis, for example (I use it because is the creation story I'm most familiar with). Scientists have shown that there was an "Eve" and an "Adam," and that everyone alive on this planet today is descended from them. However, they did not live at the same time & were not the only people alive at the time. It's just that theirs is the only DNA to have been passed down. They've even found approximately 9 "tribes" or "clans" from which every human is also descended (maternal lines). National Geographic did a show on it a few years back; you can catch it online on Netflix. Human Family Tree, I think it's called. :)
What they've uncovered doing this paleolithic research into DNA comes smack dab into the stories of creation; how Man lived in a Paradise & was thrown out. While science can't say "God did it," it can & has shown that life in Africa when humanity evolved was like a paradise, compared to what came afterwards, climatic changes that forced people out of African & into Asia, Europe, & beyond.
