Sorry so late with this, friends...either no one had signed up for August, or I had done so & forgot. Please forgive me..:)
Just a couple images & my some quotes from my favorite author, Richard Bach. Enjoy!

My prayer for this month is to set my teepee in order so that I can step into september with ease.
new school year for the kids
new career success on horizon
and relief from old physical stuff with upcoming surgery and healing

also...pray for me to take it easy and not go to fast or hurt myself or forget something important in the mix...I just want this to be easy and when it's done have a clean home to relax and work and nurture family in... :)

BTW, are you taking milk thistle? I started taking it after my pregnancy b/c my hormones were out of control & also b/c of my heavy use of alcohol in my 20s. It's good to help your liver process *everything*. Just a friendly suggestion, hope that's ok.

Kick butt on the cleaning..I need to do that also.

6. Prayers for the UK, please

I love England with all my heart and soul (the only part of the UK I've been to in yhis lifetime--I'm sure the other parts are equally lovely), and London is one of the greatest cities in the world. Prayers that the unrest will settle down with minimal harm to people and property. :(

7. Healing needed...

My kids got the 'summer cold' this week...well my daughter is way worse and now i'm sick too.

to top it off, our doctor is on vacation for a MONTH! so we have to go to the clinic today to get my daughter in, but there could be issues with her medi-CAL card...so prayers that it all goes smoothly and she can get some relief for her cough and possible ear infection. (I'm coughing and gunky too, but it is making me nauseous and barfy instead...ugh)

8. It's STREP :(

so my little guy wen to gramma's so me & my girl can heal. 500mg of pennicillin, lots of fluids & rest...
i came home and slept for 3 hrs this afternoon

ug, gunk sucks!

on the bright side, maybe this is part of the release?

10. For my brother:

He just had his big toe amputated. He is diabetic, and he got an infection.

He will be in a nursing home for about three weeks. Then, he will go to a rehab hospital.

11. Prayers for Peggy, (my new boss)

She just found out her niece who is 10 has been molested by the neighbor teen since she was 5...(he is 17) the poor girl has to do testimony on her first day of school :(
Not to mention, the father (peggy's brother) died horribly and unexpectedly on Thanksgiving 2 yrs ago, his bday was this past weekend.

she is sick to her stomach for grief and horror and sorrow for her niece. Please send Light to the whole family!

For my friend Bob, who's going through an ugly, acrimonious divorce from a woman who has lost her mind. I mean that literally--he's had to get restraining orders against her for himself & their 13-year-old daughter. She has been in & out of several institutions, and ran off with some guy who claims to be part of Ludacris's entourage!

22. $$ last week of the month... prayers for financial ease

this is always the crunch time for us... and i have to pay the electric bill and that will leave me with about $7 for the rest of the week...as long as i don;t have to buy gas, that may work :(

this is also the last week before the kids go back to school, so i still need to try and work some hours, but the daycamp costs $40 per day

so any windfall of cash that you can send me vibes for is appreciated :)

25. Eric has cellulosis and MRSA

in his right foot. The doctor is treating it aggressively, but I am really, really freaked out.

He had surgery yesterday afternoon. We have to change dressings once a day, etcetera, but I am so, SO hoping this may be the end of it.

29. My CRF kitty having a hard time right now. He needs thoughts for either healing or having a peaceful

passage. He has survived five years after the pet food poisoning. He survived being hit by a car. He survived being lost twice.He survived being caught in a live trap and damaging his face. (none of these with me!). He is a fighter and needs love and thoughts. Thank you.

32. Just fell down and twisted my ankle really good...

I've got ice on it already, but i can feel the other aches starting up too, my wrist and my knee.
Went outside to turn off the sprinkler in the backyard, and my foot just folded sideways and down I went...made me cry like a little girl!


:( I know that the right foot is 'stepping out' wonder what the left foot symbolizes?
