Natal transit question

So, when a planet transit your natal planet, how long is the effect? It gives exact times of this happening, but does that mean, the effect is a few minutes, hours, days? what? Thanks. I appreciate all the knowledge my ASAH family so freely shares.

This link says that most astrologers use a one degree orb. I know that each astrologer has his/her own feelings about this based upon their own experience. Additionally, the orb used also depends upon the type of chart reading it is; I'm pretty sure that karmic astrology uses a much wider orb.

As an example, Neptune will be going back and forth over my Chiron for over 2.5 years due to retrogression (twice! :crazy: :silly: :freak:), just as the link describes.

I hope that some people who have more actual experience with this chime in.

7. Venus is a minor little transit

In time, studying the speeds of the planets, helps you put it all in perspective.

The big mamas are what REALLY matter, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Chiron, Saturn and when you add in temporary Mars transits or eclipses, that's the big stuff.
