A doctor on PBS this am had a basic formula for the best diet to always include these foods everyday. These are the super foods that will fight all diseases. I apologize for not recalling his name. It might have been Furman.
Greens
Onions
Mushrooms
Berries and Beans
Seeds
I thought it was interesting that it didn't include oils or wild alaskan salmon. For me I need to make a concerted effort towards more mushrooms and seeds. The rest has always been in the bag!

I just looked it up; I hadn't heard of him before.
As I'm sure you know, seeds have a lot of highly-nutritious oil, so maybe that's why he didn't specifically mention oil. In reference to wild salmon, my guess is that he wouldn't view it as a negative but didn't include them in the "every day" list due to our ability to get complete proteins from the combination of seeds and beans that are in the "every day" GOMBS list.
