1. On one hand it seems minor...college sports... |
|
On the other hand, this is another example (and another opportunity) of how corrupt our systems and institutions are.
People are, rightfully, in an UPROAR. But I don't recall this same uproar with the church pedophilia scandals? Maybe it's because the Internet wasn't as prevalent, nor was social networking.
I don't know, but the crimes themselves are bad enough, but the COVERUP and control by those in "authority" -- and they're in positions of authority because of money/greed/power -- THAT is what is being focused on now.
I'm glad there is an uproar and so much attention being paid, especially in conjunction with the exposure of injustice and immorality and criminality by the OWS movement. It's just one more institution being exposed, and the undue influence it has on those within the hierarchy, especially the bottom of the chain.
I say pop all these corrupt institutions like a horrendous boil and let the sunshine in to heal things.
Bless all of these victims and their families.
Obviously I don't have any ASAH-related input, but I just wanted to share that. ;)

10. I have no idea what the astrological |
|
aspects might be, but I have for years now been railing against major college sports. There's a myth out there, and it really is a myth, that college sports bring in money from alums, bring in money to the school. Not true. The sports cost the schools money.
The colleges with the highest percent of alumni who donate tend to be the small liberal arts colleges like Middlebury, Amherst, and Williams Colleges, none of which are football powerhouses.
Fielding what amounts to a pro football team is a genuine distraction from the educational mission of schools. But the reason so many are paying so much attention to this scandal, aside from the fact that it should be paid attention to, is rooted in the myth of college sports as the end-all and be-all of many colleges. When the football coaches are paid more than the tenured professors and often more than the school's president, there is something completely wrong with their priorities. Unfortunately, this scandal probably won't change a thing in that regard.

3. The whamO eclipse at 2 Sag later this month is right on Paterno's Saturn |
|
Edited on Thu Nov-10-11 06:15 PM by SpiralHawk
Talk about Paterno (Pater Noster) Patriarchy (Saturn). The FATHER fails his sons by a SIN OF OMISSION.
Meanwhile Paterno's got some vast shit going down with his at 6 Cap - Pluto is right smack atop it.
I think his historic career is definitely being ECLIPSED...

6. Paterno has Venus at 6 Capricorn |
|
Just read my earlier post, and noticed that the word Venus was not there...So, to clarify, transiting Pluto is right at 6 Cap now, conjunct Paterno's natal placement of Venus.

7. Is this fancy talk for, "He is in a world of hurt"? Sure seems like it. |
|
From my lowly perspective it sure isn't looking good for Paterno and the rest of the team, for that matter.
I have to wonder, has anybody ever looked at a chart on Penn State? Given the exposure to liability the school has created (by keeping quiet and pretty much enabling that predator) I'm thinking they are in for some civil lawsuits as a result.

11. Working with December 21, 1926 |

The entire crisis was caused by Neptune and Chiron, no wonder. Neptune is certainly the planet of scandals. Chiron; wounds and healing. Pluto is also on their Venus now which is natally opposite Pluto. Not good. Lots of secrets. It's a simple matter. Lots was shoved under the carpet and PL destroyed the carpet while Neptune exposed their transgressions.
Penn State is serving as just another "institution held up by pillars" that is crumbling due to Pluto attack on anything without character. This expose will lead to examination of all schools and renew our addressing sex abuse just like Pluto is starting to do away with "bullying".
