Eliminating negative energy connections. |
|
I don't know if this article has already been posted here. I've found it helpful. I have a number of sound meditations on my site, www.shambhudance.com which supplement and expand what it recommends. Jai. :donut: :donut: :hi: http://www.sun-angel.com/iam/ebooks/energymanagement.pdf

Edited on Fri Nov-17-06 04:58 PM by rumpel
On Tuesday, I participated in a group deeksha - and Holographic Repatterning - that was in the morning Subsequently, I had to draft a response to an appeal, which, were I to summarize, is a deception, laden with lies and convenient omission of facts and events, simply with the intent to harass and damage. While I was writing point by point, paragraph by paragraph I turned into a vessel of pure negative energy. I started denouncing everything positive - including what I intended to manifest, which has nothing to do with the appeal... The words and thoughts that I spewed were pure venom. (and I just don't do that - ) (Even my dogs kept distance when they normally follow me with each step)
and I think reading Metta's linked document this is what is referred to as karmic cords - big time - perhaps compounded by the collective? I hope it was a release -
I have not finished the response - I have to prepare myself a little better -
gratitude - Metta :)

11. What you went through was normal, rumpel. |
|
Deeksha and repatterning wipe you clean and connect you with your own and a big taste of universal energy which is neutral. What you did was to put negative thoughts and focus into your increased amperage. Plus, once you get on a roll, (given thought, focus and repetion) that stuff just snowballs. I'm surprised you didn't violently act out in some way or destroy something.
Certainly, a few minutes with the clearing method will help you. Even if you do each piece for a minute or less. More is better. I wonder if writing your response while you loosely and gently focus from your heart would get you where you want to go without roasting yourself.
The gift moves on. :donut: :donut: :hi:

I am glad it's rather normal - I thought, perhaps I completely screwed things up
however the urge to act out and destroy was directed at myself or my own desires - funny, I just remembered when I was really small my outbursts expressed itself in pulling out my desk drawer and emptying it onto the floor - and then I felt like an idiot each time - as I placed everything back. I tamed that one pretty quickly. So I guess my tendency is to direct the anger at myself :)
when I am stressed I do go to take a long bath - which I did. It seems it was the right thing to do. perhaps I belong in the ocean, lol
I will definitely try those methods -
thanks for the treats

in your long baths, do you use salts? Some charged bath salts, especially of the well-made, organic and sea kind, would greatly help in clearing your aura and washing away any negativity. Heck, even putting in just some plain old sea salt (just a bit symbolically) would do. I also highly recommend the brand LUSH for their bath ballistics in this area--most are vegan and all are cruelty-free. And they are heeeaaavenly. Mmmmmmm.

15. Less awful than you feared, better than you expected. |
|
You didn't screw things up. You just didn't realize the effects of combining the two. It helps me to put into words what I feel like doing. Ex: "I feel like throwing this drawer across the room" and then noting the emotions underlying that. In this case, anger and resentment. I'd also check for worry and grief. And then do even a 15 seconds of tapping and *breathing normally."
Water is a good thing to ground you. As is sitting near a fire, eating meat or smoking a cigarette.

that is interesting.
But you must have sensed my one addiction, while the below refers to "unaltered tobacco and not the Virginia kind, which has 4000 toxic substances (Federal Office of Public Health, Switzerland)"
Receptors and Transmitters Lawrence E. Sullivan (1988) writes in his comparative work of South American religions: "Tobacco smoke is a prime object of the craving of helper spirits, since they no longer possess fire as human beings do" (p. 653) Johannes Wilbert (1987) In any case, tobacco craving is regarded as symptomatic of the hunger sensation of Supernaturals and is transferred from the tobacco-using practitioner to the spirit world at large. snip Unfortunately, a scrutiny of the ethnographic literature gives the impression that had the idea been less exotic for Western observers or had investigators succeeded in penetrating indigenous ideology more deeply than they ordinarily did, we might have learned more often about this existential reason, as it were, behind the spirits' predilection for tobacco.
from "The Cosmic Serpent", Jeremy Narby , Notes
So it makes sense to me

Yeah, eating meat, too. I think it grounds one by lowering one's frequency and increasing one's density. :~~>
