I'm putting up my fence tomorrow! |
|
I am soooooo excited. I have been planning and working on this for several months. Tomorrow is the culmination. The plastic/wire fence goes up! I won't have the ground pins for a few more days (poor planning on my part-I thought I had some) which means I'll have to go back around the perimeter a second time. Then comes the drip lines! That should be in be late this week. When those two things are done, I'm golden!
My camera died yesterday, but I'll get pictures soon and post them after the big job is done.

1. well, we didn't finish |

I didn't add the footage properly and we're short. It'll take another 4 days for the rest to arrive, but I'll get the rest of the ground pins in and fix it around the trees and then we can add the last part next Monday. I'm so looking forward to keeping the deer at bay! The perimeter of the fence is 1100 feet. This is really going to be amazingly beautiful in a couple of years. The getting there is so much fun, but the results are going to be a 4 season spectacle.

3. Done! The pesky deer are banned! |
|
I am so excited. I love the fence. Today I bought a bunch of native honeysuckle and am going to cover one side of our property...the one between us the the visible neighbor. The fence is 8 feet and so it will completely blot them from my sight!
My camera lens seems to have peeled its coating and I would rather buy more plants than another camera, so I can only give verbal gushing raves of deer fencing!
