my darwin's orchids are blooming!

anybody ever see these orchids? they're really neat. they're a large orchid native to madagascar and they have a long, thin pollination tube and are pollinated by a moth with a long tongue.

1. Breathtaking!!!!!

My orchids aren't so fancy.

I've bought an out of bloom cattleya 4 years ago. It didn't bloom until a week ago...3" across, fragrant lime green blossoms. I'd almost given up on it. And I'm the only person I know that has had the patience to wait for a bromeliad to rebloom. It took 3 years.
