Planning ahead for problems...
Assuming that I will encounter the same common prolems in garding that most folks do, what should I have on hand for natural, organic remedies for bugs and other issues?

I just found out you can order ladybugs online to eat aphids! Too cool!!! I rarely see a ladybug around here, so I think it would be great to buy my own little colony!

I was also told that beer kills snails and slugs.

1. beer traps
you put the beer in a dish and the snails drown

I just planted marigolds in front of my maters this morning to help with something or another

i plan on planting zinnias in the big plot too. both flowers deter some bugs, i can't remember which ones tho...

another thing I'm gonna do in the big plot is give all the babies 'collars' so the cut worms won't get em. I've been saving toilet paper and paper towel rolls for a few weeks now for that little chore

I didn't worry about collars in the raised bed, the worms would have a heck of a time getting into that tub I hope.
