Oh fer cryin' out loud... get ready people.
Inside Edition did a segment on Morgellan's Disease today.

Sigh...

I like living with Beloved Boyfriend but I miss my TV-free leisure time. I do my best to ignore it but some of this shit is just TOO FUCKING STUPID for me to get over. Forget elephants, it's more like a mentally challenged mutant mammoth took up residence in the living room.

I think even my cats' IQ's have plummeted.

1. Teh wurms r crawlin from mai skin
The CDC is doing an investigation too which is actually good. Naturally if they find no evidence of anything infectious it's a big cover up for the chemtrail industrial complex or whatever it is.

Data not confirming your preconceived notions? Just shout conspiracy!

2. That's funny, that's the exact same feeling I get whenever I see ads for shows like Inside Edition.
They also had a five minute blurb about a teenage girl who only eats Tic Tacs.

IIrc, we duked it out a time or two in the Health forum about Morgellan's (I don't consider it a "disease").

It was futile, of course. We will be assimilated.

Morgellons Watch is still one of the best resources for skeps.

5. Hooray!

How is it, according to woos, anyone who gets political information from MSM are sheeple, yet they treat MSM, and entertainment media as legitimate sources of scientific knowledge? Un-fucking-believable.:banghead:
Oh yeah, and these are usually the same dumb fucks that think pharma companies "make up shit"

7. Don't even get me started about Montel...
Sylvia Brown  is a regular on his show (and no, I most certainly do not watch it! I've see the adverts)
I've seen the previews for that new show as well and my reaction was the same as yours. Just what the anti-vax woos need - more encouragement. :banghead:

It tells me all I need to know about pop culture...and then some, assuming all I need to know about pop culture is nothing.

I'm thinking heaven is a secluded cabin in the Colorado Rockies with a solar generator and satellite internet.

Hell would be staying here in Redneckstania.

13. Has anybody ever done a real analysis of these mysterious fibres?
I've read a lot of woo about this stuff but never any real analysis.

Until I see the results of that, I'm keeping an open mind.

That comes of having fibro. That one was imaginary, too, until they started to find out we really were desperately ill.
