I switch off when people start on 'global conspiracies'. As far as I can see, the world, especially its 'elites, is full of *rivals* for power, who at best cannot co-operate even to literally save their lives, and at worst (and frequently) enter into conflicts in which many other people end up as literal or metaphorical 'collateral damage'. I cannot take seriously the idea that there is some sort of united global plot against the rest of us?
