2. I think so and one of the shepherds (I think) gives clinics here in the US sometimes |

I have been into sheepdogs and their training for about 25 years now. Not such a big group of people in the US are into it, but It is a huge sport in the British Isles. They have TV shows and everything. Mostly showing competitions of the dogs working the sheep. The man who has helped me with my dogs for the last 6 years has trainers come from Wales and England once a year and people bring their dogs over for a few days and get extra pointers, etc.
I watched that video again and again and really found it so clever. Putting the lights on the sheep's backs and single ones on some dogs....my goodness. But to have so many really well trained dogs like that is something else. Tremendous skill and training. I am all thrilled that my dog and I can "drive" our 80 sheep down a hill and into a new pasture 1/3 or a mile away every morning. And bring them back again in the evening. One flock, one dog is really really hard. These guys are incredible and watching it I think that it was really all done. Lots of editing, though, I am sure.
There was a good movie recently called Mist that had some dogs that looked very similar. I wonder if some of them were involved with that film. It was all about sheepdogs learning how to manage sheep.

My dad bought a couple of goats to keep my horse company, but they weren't anywhere near that cute.
Hell, if I had the money and the space I would build a shelter for all the animals people don't want anymore.
