Now I'm getting depressed. |

I know it's my fault for getting involved in certain debates; but it really gets me down when people start their accusations of 'worshipping science', etc. - it reminds me of the anti-secularists and so-called 'pro-lifers' who cause problems from time to time in the UK, let alone the USA. (And indeed people like Melanie Phillips are both fiercely anti-secularist and vaccine-scaremongers.)

what a gulf exists between their reality and mine. Even most religious people will agree on the platform of general logic in debates, even if in the end they remain solid on faith
