5. Their website says that you'll need
a top of the line machine to play the game "maxed out". However, I will say, in defense of the Source engine.... it looks fantastic in Half-Life 2, and it runs very well even on lower end machines.

So perhaps you won't have to upgrade right away. Oh, you'll want to, to see all the eye candy, but as far as the game looking and playing well- I think it won't be much of an issue, if we can use HL2 as a benchmark for how well Source runs, even on slower, less capable machines.

6. I agree with you there
HL2 looks pretty sweet and runs pretty well on my 3 year old 1.6gHz P4. I have hopes for TESIV too.

3. Morrowind hooked my girlfriend
She insists on going in on half on the Xbox 360 the instant it comes out for Oblivion. I'm salivating my self.

I love morrowind, but I get tired of all the walking, you know? Looking forward to horses.

8. Latest issue of the XBOX magazine with the free disc
has an Oblivion feature with video of actual game play.

HOLY CRAP.

Screen shots don't even come close to doing this thing justice.

it makes Morrowind look like Gauntlet.
