turn it all down to low and see how it plays. If its good, slowly kick up the graphics until you start having problems. Then you can kick it back down to the last setting that worked. Do the same for the sound too.
Also, do a Google for "BF2 video problems". I'm sure you'll find someone else who has had the same problem you are experiencing.
Obviously, your video probs arent too bad, I remember you killed me at least once or twice last night.

the shaders are created at the beginning of each game(it actually tells you this). When you change the settings, you need to restart the program.
