X-Men Legends II: Age of Apocalypse
Kicks ass.

You get to play Magneto. And Toad. And Blob. Extra cool.

Certain combos of teams get bonuses.

And they have many, many more skills, with a cool drop-down menu way of accessing them I'm still working on.

1. Cool Game
It sounds like a cool game. I have played X-Men Legends and think it is a fun and cool game.

2. This one's more open-ended
You can use the Extraction points to travel to any other Extraction point you've been to, so you can go back and hunt for things you missed. (There's a computer you can access at each homebase listing all the items you're looking for.)

I finally got everyone up to the level that they can access skins from Age of Apocalypse, so now they all have +100 attack, which helps. The individual challenges for each character give you a specialised item that romps over anything else in the game, and if you do it well enough, you get an extra level, too.

Next time through, I'm playing as one of the teams that give you a bonus. If you use all Brotherhood characters, you get +5 XP. If you use all the female characters (Storm, Scarlet Witch, Rogue, and Jean Grey) you get part of the damage you deal back as HP. Etc.

3. Thought about picking it up
I haven't played the first one in a while, after getting stuck on the aircraft carrier level (forgot to drag Iceman along to make a bridge and my team died). I should probably try slugging through it first.

4. I never bothered with Iceman
I preferred Jean Grey for my bridger. Or Magma. Magma rocked.
