Upon visiting Border's I spied an non WoC supplement to Dungeons and Dragons: "The Book of Erotic Fantasy."

I have to tell you it was the funniest pile of porn guised as a RPG book I've ever had the pleasure to witness... So funny that I had to write a review at Amazon (under my wife's profile I noticed later regretfully.) The sad thing was it was written 'oh so seriously'. Check out the top review at Amazon. If you see it check it out at the bookstore as 65$ for an RPG supplement that actually has dildoes as equipment...I swear I'm not sh*tting you...the funniest serious attempt you'll ever read!

Hey, I'm a gamer and I love other gamers, but lets face it...most of us are not the most attractive or sexually successful of people.

5. I knew a guy who had attained the ultimate level of respect from gamers

twice.

Once when he brought his girlfriend to a Magic: The Gathering tourney and had her playing in it with one of his decks.


The other was when she called him during a championship (local game-store tourney, of course) match of M:TG, and he answered with "I'll call you back, I'm in the last round" and hung up.

And they remained together, lol

Specially this guy (When they were not cheap nor common).



Like the name (very similar to my real name). Like the quote (but hardly my real philosophy.) Had the original as well as a few others from Arabian Nights and the Dark that I loved to use. I remember Ali Baba great against my one buddy's serious amount of walls in his deck...

That got the respect.

Haven't played for years though... Should have tried the girlfriend thing. Girlfriends, I had in college really did not pursuit any interest in my hobby, and I had neither the desire nor the pursuasive ability to make them give it a try.
