3. Yeah, they're still out there.

Try giving a call to the electronics department and asking them when they get their next shipment.

Also, I've heard it helps to look for it in department stores in relatively rural areas.

5. Don't know if you got one yet or not, but ...

I picked on up yesterday at around 10:00 at the local Target. If you have time to swing by your nearest non-Wal-Mart retailer in the mornings, you'll probably hit on one. You could also try calling around in the mornings to see who has them in stock, though I doubt they'd hold one for you.

6. Just checking back on my post to say, Thanks all!

And, to give you an update: I got very lucky today when I went to Target to pick up some other stuff and they happened to be unpacking the six Wiis that had just come in. Yipee!

My kids almost flipped when I came home with it. They had decided that I was not going to be one to stay up all night waiting outside the local gamestop to get one. And, just last night I told them that they might have to wait a couple of months because I was not willing to run around town hunting one down either.

And, funny you should mention the time 10am, NewHampshireDem.... It was shortly after 10am when they arrived at Target today.
