Does Lubeck have its own coat of arms etc? How does one do that? Secondly, in the game I'm playing right now, England inherited the throne of Denmark, and Mecklenburg only has four provinces, all on the coast, and continually fights major wars against powerful Saxony, which is the mega-state in the region (besides me, the Netherlands). It's kind of dumb too... Saxony always occupies all of Mecklenburg, and meanwhile Mecklenburg occupies 1/3 of Saxony and then they trade back with a white peace. Maybe if one of them played a little defense they could actually win the war.
Earlier I crushed Saxony (99% warscore) and split off the Palitinate, Lippe, Cleves, Hesse, Anhalt and one other country I can't remember. Saxony has reconquered them all except Lippe and the Palitinate. They're just a powerhouse in this current game. It's rediculous. In my game as poland, Pommerania was persistent but never powerful, and the Austrians overran most of Germany. In this game, Austria has all but thrown the Ottomans out of Europe. Meanwhile, I'm holding my own, making a bunch of money on trade, and I've just launched major army and naval expansions. Plus I found out some good places to start colonies. Hint: South Africa, Mauritius, and the Bahamas hardly put up any resistance. It's great.
