1. IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946

The latest release in the franchise includes every iteration of the simulation since Forgotten Battles. Realism and attention to detail are the hallmarks of this series. There are over 200 flyable WWII era aircraft and every theater of the war is represented, although the focus is on the Eastern Front. I believe there is still a pretty active online community at HyperLobby, but I play mostly offline or with a small group of friends in 105 Squadron.
