1. My urge to get this game is tempered by my knowledge that it has SecuROM

And only allows 5 installs. Just like Bioshock and Mass Effect.

3. I know. And I'm tempted. But I just found out it's not 5 activations. It's 3.

Three activations.
And the game was apparently available 3 days on torrent servers prior to its release. (I do not have a pirated copy of the game, I got that information from various blog posts across the internet tubes)


Over 2,000 reviews on Amazon.com, and the game has 1 star. All because of of the SecuROM DRM.

4. Creature Stage is my favorite so far.

(I've yet to reach space stage)

Tribe seemed too easy, Civilization seems too hard. Creature stage, just right (as long as you don't get stepped on by one of those huge epic monster things, which are awe-inspiring to see).

The coolest thing is to suddenly see one of your own creations popping up out of nowhere to attack you. This happens quite a bit, with creatures I used with the Creature Creator they released a few months before the game.
