1. I managed to play Fallout 3 until 7 pm last night
when the polls here in Ohio closed! Actually, I ended up quitting a little early when the damn game froze on me...

3. "Ghouls are people too." - Three Dog
That radio station is one of my favorite parts of this game. Three Dog is such a cool character, and hearing the encouragement, or the scathing disapproval, as you progress through the sidequests, is really well done. I just wish they had more music. Hearing, "I don't want to set the world on fire", over and over again got a little old, as did the handful of rants from Mr. President Eden.

I love the music on GNR, but after the first few hundred repeats of a song...well.... :)

I thought they'd be on Wed. But I'm VERY excited to get some time in with my favorite Black Orc.

10. Finished my first playthrough as a good sniper.
Now on to my second playthrough as an evil slaver using unarmed and big guns.

I like the Rock-It Launcher a lot more than I should for the stats. Death by Teddy Bear! I think I'm going to have to take the Bloody Mess perk...is that wrong?

I mean, if you thought it was a bloody game before, just wait until your first super mutant critical headshot kill after getting the Bloody Mess perk.

15. Tonight I plan on clearing out my home which apparently is a tricycle factory now.
There is something very oddly unsettling about walking around in a post nuclear game while playing in the same geo-locality as the game takes place in.

Like I said the other day though...they moved a lot of stuff.

16. I nuked Megaton.
I'm a bad, bad person.

Unfortunately for them, the residents of Tenpenny Tower aren't amusing me. I just might let the Ghouls in to take over the Tower.

I still don't understand why I can't shoot lightning from my fingertips. Aren't I evil enough yet?

18. (spoilers) You wanna know what's really funny?
I hacked Tenpenny's computer terminal only to discover that he's an unreconstructed Maoist spy who's only reason for establishing the Tower is to create a totalitarian base for the eventual takeover of (what's left of) America!

So do I kill the dirty Maoist spy or the dirty flesh-dribbling Ghoul?

Who says an Evil character doesn't have tough choices to make?

19. How could he be a Maoist spy 200 years after the war???
I mean the Maoists aren't even a faction in the game! The Enclave as what remains of "The United States of America"...at least the Executive Branch and Military sure...but are the Chinese (or what is left of them) ever an organized force to be reckoned with?

That being said

I fully expect a nice add-on to the game like they did with Oblivion...Annapolis perhaps?

20. Hey, I didn't design the game.
I just kill the characters in it.

I assume he thinks he's just lost contact with the Maotherland, and they'll be landing troops any minute now. Yup, any minute now.

21. 200 years after civilization fell? Some nasty plot holeage.
Edited on Thu Nov-13-08 05:20 PM by YOY
I mean in FO 2 there was an entire city founded by survivors of a Chinese submarine...they didn't seem to give two shits about the Maotherland.

Granted it would be hella cool if they brought them in to the story.

I kind of wonder if they will close the gap on Sulik's story like they did with Harold (and Bob).

23. Fantastic Game! But vault 112 really made me feel bad.(Spoiler)
After over 25 years of video game killing and watching tons of horror movies I can say that when it

comes to fictitious violence I consider myself pretty hardened. And I enjoyed killing everything

I encountered in Fallout 3 until vault 112.It's really cool at first but when I began to follow

the orders of xxx and saw where it was going I tried to find another way around to get the hell out

of there before continuing.I found it,saved my game and returned to xxx because I was curious.

Gee it didn't took me long to reload my previous game.I couldn't do it.If you've been there

you know what I mean.If not maybe you'll say WTF it's no big deal but it was for me.Lol.

Now,excuse me but I got to go back to play one of the greatest game I ever played.

27. Yeah, that's why after finding the solution...
I saved my game and went back to continue but after doing the "creative" killing (that was pretty

fun BTW) and starting the next demand of xxx I began to feel bad and said to myself "OK that's

enough" and I reloaded my saved game. And that scenario is pretty weird too.If you have a saved game

that can take you there I can PM you and tell you how to do it.

32. You might want to select the perk
that reveals all the locations on the map. Even with a strategy guide, there is a lot you could miss without that perk.

You still have a good portion of the main quest left but the game ends abruptly so if you want to explore, you have to get it done before completing the main quest. Unlike Oblivion, the game resets after you finish the story.

I loved exploring after Fallout 1&2, guess I'll have to stop folloing the main quest again. And how on earth do I gain access to the Citadel, is it main quest related or is there something I need to find or do first?

I haven't played it yet but triggering it once you've downloaded it is a subject that's been asked about a lot on the game forums. Everybody says going near the memorial should do it.
