Yes, now DUers all over the world can join together in a gaming extravaganza!

You'll need to download and install Steam, Valve Software's content distribution platform. Create an account, and then take a look at the group profile page.

"TheDU" is a private Steam group, so PM me here on DU with your Steam username once you create your account so I can send you an invitation to join the group. You will then need to log in to your Steam account and accept the invitation to be added to the group. TheDU is by INVITATION ONLY for the foreseeable future, but all DUers are welcome to attend.

You didn't really want to play games with Freepers, did you?

Now, I'm not quite certain exactly how all this is going to work, because this is the first group I've ever created in Steam. I'll be selecting one or more group officers once we actually get a group together. I already have a couple candidates in mind for this particular honor ;) This is highly experimental, so there will likely be hitches and glitches and all manner of balderdash and tomfoolery, but that's okay. After all, it's all in good fun.
