Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
I'll try not to spoiler too much...

I know I'm way behind, but I just beat the main story. It was great, until the end of sequence 7. Once the Apple came into play...

The ending was AWFUL. Meaning the Ezio part, not the Desmond part. It was like they dropped 15 pages of script and couldn't find them before the deadline. They explained little, if anything, even the basic stuff (like what the hell was going in with the two armies before the Final Confrontation? Who the hell was the other army? Why did Cesere think he was immortal? I guess the latter bit might be explained in the next game, but still)

Above and beyond the story, it was a major dick move having an un-announced point of no return. Mass Effect 2-style. And I was messing around with a two-handed sword at the time, and had battered armor. I was stuck with something like 6 health slots for the final fight, after my armor had all been broken, and had the slowest damn sword in the game. Plus, it didn't give me a chance to get the Romulus armor before the final sequence.

I guess I'll go back and get the rest of the treasures, etc, but I'm pretty angry. My interest in a game drops VERY quickly after I beat it, even if there is a bunch of stuff left to collect. If it weren't for the last 2 hours of gameplay, I would have given it a 9/10 or 10/10. The last bit drops it down to a 7 or 8, but maybe that's just because I'm pissed off at it right now.
