The Logitech G-13 (and other peripherals)
I started using the G-13 about three months ago to play World of Warcraft, and it's amazing. I don't need to use the keyboard to navigate anymore, as it has a little joystick for the thumb. I can set all 25 keys to whatever configuration I want, which means I rarely have to move my left hand during play.

I haven't played a FPS in years, but I imagine it would be quite handy for that, too. If you have multiple games, it can be programmed with four different profiles that are easy to switch between.

I use a basic 5 button optical mouse from Microsoft that I've loved for 10 years. It's not the most durable mouse in the world (I tend to go through them pretty fast), but it's very comfortable, and I'm used to it.

For the PS3, I think they finally got the controller just right. I wasn't a fan of the PS2 controller (I didn't like having double shoulder buttons), but the new one is much better. I don't use third party controllers anymore.

What sort of peripherals do the rest of you like?

1. I just have an old 2005 era Logitech G15 and a Razer Lachesis mouse

They don't make many nice things like that for lefties.

...then there's my Logitech G35 Dolby Surround Sound Stereo Headphones. Those are awesome.

2. I have a pair of Logitech Dual ACtion controllers

since I tend to go through controllers like water, and the things are cheap.

edit: Is there such an animal as a Nerf USB controller? ;)

I really don't have many peripherals, actually- any standard keyboard will do me fine (although I like the type that are split in the middle and contoured for wrist tilt for gaming).

My primary gaming mouse is a Logitech G5 laser mouse. The thumb button is very handily placed; I usually use it in place of the mouse's middle button because there's no scroll up/down on the thumb button. This is important for games where I use that button- for example, I usually map it to melee attack in FPS games, and one of the portals for Portal and Portal 2.

Incidentally, years ago I was introduced to a keyboard remap of WASD. For back movement, I use L-CTRL and for forward movement I use R-Mouse. This frees up the W and S keys; I usually map S to 'use' and make W a special of some sort. If I angle the keyboard toward me on the right and away on the left, my left hand ends up in a very natural position, I don't have to crimp my fingers together. Basically, you just angle the keyboard, lay your left hand over it, and there you go.

Once you get used to it, it feels really natural and works surprisingly well. Many of the people I've shown it to have switched to it.

3. There was a time when I had a really nice set up
I don't like to think about it much... I like to leave it as more shit that burned in the fire. Right now I just have a mediocre laptop and a Logitech wireless mouse. I will rebuild though! :D
