Mom asked me to post this little bit of activism re: women' health.
She has been clean of ovarian cancer for 12 years and counting, and I promised that her little shiny headed cyber activist would post this on the usual boards. She is very active in support groups, and is especially concered with younger woman. By the way, she is 81.

Rep. Sander Levin (kin to my senator, Carl Levin) introduced this bill. Even my R rep (Knollenberg) is listed as a co-sponsor.

I love to hear these stories. Being a 12 yr survivor of Ovarian is a great challenge at her age....good for her!

5. Thanks for your thoughts. She is this drummer's rock.
She no like * either. Then again, WW2 widowed her and 2 kids, she married my dad and had 4 more, and saw us all through a lot of stuff (especially me She thinks * is just a another super rich kid that never knew hardhip or rejection. She was a major local leader in the girl scouts for 4 decades, and waves the colors proudly, but honorably.
