TCM Schedule for Tuesday, September 6th: Star of the Month: Kirk Douglas
I think it's something of a shame that A Letter to Three Wives is airing at a rather ungodly time of night. I've always found that one watchable -- for Paul Douglas and Thelma Ritter's performances in particular, though Kirk Douglas seems to be having fun as one of the three husbands targeted by a predatory female.

1. I wish TCM would do a fillm festival
for Thelma Ritter. I just love her snarky, wise and wise-cracking characters. She steals every scene!

2. You won't get any argument from me.
Just thinking about her delivering that line in All About Eve about "everything but the bloodhounds snappin' at her rear end" makes me grin.
