1. Yay! Favorite version of "A Christmas Carol."

Don't get me wrong. There are a number of very fine adaptations of the Dickens story, and of course numerous take-offs (Bill Murray in Scrooged, anyone?), and you can easily make a case for your favorite. But I love the score, the look, the spirit (Sorry!) of the 1951 version -- in glorious black and white (I've seen it colorized, and it looks like an Easter egg...).
