This is why John Edwards is not going to drop out.

Support is increasing. It may not be reflected in the poll numbers, but I found this in a press release on his site:

Fifty-two percent of those making contributions online this quarter are new contributors.

52% !

And to top it off, donations during the first 25 days of this quarter have exceeded the entire 4th quarter from last year. Over $3 million as of last week, most of which will be matched with federal funds.

When you get record breaking donations, and over half of them are first time donors, that tells me support for Edwards is INCREASING, and just isn't reflected in national polls yet. Or, if it is it isn't being reported for reasons we all know too well.

So, I think this is yet something else to feel good about - the message is catching on! :)

John mentioned those things when he spoke to Keith and David on MSNBC on Saturday night. The media neglect is helping us to sneak up on the competition.
